Because our services are also aimed at people in the European Union, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as well as the UAE data protection law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, PDPL).

2. The essentials

• This website uses no analytics, tracking or advertising tools and sets no cookies of its own.
• Fonts and images are loaded from our own domain. No data is sent to Google Fonts or other third parties.
• Beyond what is technically necessary, we only process personal data when you contact us.

3. Hosting and delivery via Cloudflare

This website is provided via Cloudflare (hosting and content delivery network). The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.

When you visit the website, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data, in particular your IP address, date and time, the page requested, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This is needed to deliver the website quickly and protect it against attacks and abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). For security purposes, Cloudflare may set a technically necessary cookie, e.g. to detect bots.

We have a data processing agreement with Cloudflare (Data Processing Addendum). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Transfers to the US are based on this adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR) and additionally on standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR). More information: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

4. Contact via email, Telegram and the contact form

When you write to us, we process the information you provide (e.g. name, email address, message) to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete the data once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Emails to our address are forwarded to our mailbox via Cloudflare Email Routing. The contact form opens your own email program; the website itself does not transmit any data.

If you contact us via Telegram, Telegram’s privacy policy also applies: telegram.org/privacy. Data is only sent to Telegram once you actively open the Telegram link.

5. Transfers to the UAE

Our company is based in the United Arab Emirates. There is no EU Commission adequacy decision for the UAE. When you contact us, your data is transferred to the UAE to the extent necessary to answer your enquiry or to take pre-contractual steps (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR).

6. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). Just send us an email.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state where you live.

We update this privacy policy when the website or the law changes. The version published here applies.
